The Reese Brother's Project: we are free (Wyndfall 1994)
"Collector's Series"
jazz, folk, original
The Reese Project's first CD release, now included in The Reese Project Collector's Series. This CD is mostly a duo effort by Tom & Laurie Reese. They are joined by the quartet on Duncan's Waltz, later re-recorded for The Reese Project's Grammy nominated CD, "Blue Etude," and Nocturne #1, a free jazz piece reminescent of a late evening stroll in the summer. Pianist Kirk Reese is also featured on track 6, "The Kitchen Girl," a traditional folk tune reworked as a lively jazz piece. It also features a 4th grade chorus on the title track, "we are free." ... more about the The Reese Project ...
