Groovulation Lives
~ music by
Tom Reese, lyrics by Naimon Lyons

Inspired by graffiti on a freeway bridge. Motivational writing off the wall.

Blissard ~ by Aaron Walker
Players: Tom, Kirk, Dave,

This tune was written emphasizing a lyrical melody with lots of changing meters.
The beautiful rolling melody leaves you feeling "blissed out." The band dubbed
this one "drummer's revenge"
in the studio (did I mention changing meters?).

Aaron
We let the guys loose on this one. Features Dave playing the melody on the B-3,
with burnin' solos.

Kirk, Dave, Laurie & Aaron
A delightful samba written to feature an 1860 Austrian ocarina. Tom has a

28 Austrian ocarinas, ranging in sizes & shapes. This ocarina is the largest &
sweetest,
deepest sounding instrument.

(Don't) Throw up on Your Shoes ~ music & lyrics by Tom

Abigail Judge ~ by Turlough O'Carolan, arr by Kirk Reese
Players: Tom, Kirk, Dave,
Laurie & Aaron
A rock feel breathes new life into this tune from the Baroque period. Turlough
O'Carolan was a blind Irish harpist from the 16th century who wrote songs
dedicated to people he met in his travels. This performance takes Abigail far
from her roots, putting her solidly into this century!
8. Elegy 9-11/a.m. news ~ by Tom Reese
Players: Tom (flutes) &
Marti Hess (English horn)
A dedication to those that lost their lives & loved ones during the attacks on
