“From Bach to Rock” 50 minute In-School Performance
High Energy Celtic & Folk Rock Wyndfall presents a musical journey across Ireland and America. From the Baroque music of Johann Sebastian Bach through the Irish sounds of the 1700's and into the present-day with American tunes & popular rock songs, audience members of all ages are engaged and entertained. This performance also features original composition by the artists. Upon request, can include lecture/demonstration of global wind instruments. Wyndfall, co-founded by Tom & Laurie Reese and vocalist/guitarist Chris Laughery, has developed concerts & residency programs for children. Tom & Laurie Reese have given musical workshops for children of all ages since the early 1980's, including lecture/demonstrations of global wind instruments, jazz & improvisation performance & clinics, & instrument design & building workshops.
